We are BACK at Hollywood Blvd Jan 26!

We’ve enjoyed our winter break and this Saturday, Jan. 26, we’re BACK and ready to Rocky (Horror) your world! Join us for shenanigans, Mickey’s birthday (she’ll be doing Frank!), Wally donning a gold Speedo and a special price on prop kits – bring two people with you and your prop kit’s just a buck.

We wouldn’t miss it. See you there!

It’s Halloween Season – Plan ahead to guarantee your spot!

We love Halloween. I mean really LOOOVE Halloween.

So do lots of other people, including people for whom Rocky Horror is a once a year treat. So please remember to buy your tickets for our October shows in advance, or at least show up early (any time after 10:30 PM) to buy your ticket (and show off your awesome outfit in the lobby – you are wearing an awesome outfit, right?).

Every year some of our regulars forget and then can’t get tickets to our Halloween show – don’t let this happen to you!

Domestic violence sucks. Please help us fight it!

This is Alexander. He’s a cat, but he’s donated for the last 3 years to the Heroes for Hope 5K against domestic violence!

Alexander, proud donor to Heroes for Hope!

We’d like to thank Alexander, and thank the rest of our friends who’ve donated more than $500 so far to fight domestic violence. We are 10% of the way to our goal of $4711!
You can help too: please give at http://fss.donorpages.com/WalkRun/ Tell us Alexander sent you!

We are Taking Applications!

As you know, we do Rocky Horror because we love it. Do you love it too? Would you like to join us?

We are looking for performers, or if you prefer not to run around in your underwear, Security, Props, Lighting and Crew.

See us at the Hollywood Blvd and pick up an application form!

(We are all volunteer, so nope, not getting paid. But we have a damn good time.)

We always cry at weddings.

Heroes for Hope (in fishnets!) Please help us beat the Girl Scouts!

We’re walking 5K in our Rocky Horror costumes for local domestic violence shelter Family Shelter Services on Sept. 28. We need your help – our goal is $4711! (Want to know why? Take a good look at Frank’s leg when you come see the show Saturday.)

Please bring a little extra cash to the show – we will be collecting for the charity. Every little bit helps, and we love you for it. The shelter is just down the street from our theater. They help thousands of people in our community, and even $5 will fund a child’s breakfast in the shelter. (And we really, really want to be the Girl Scouts team.)

THANK YOU!

Fundraising update against domestic violence. To our audience: YOU ROCK!

Have we told you lately that we love you?

When our audience at Hollywood Blvd. raised $91 last week for Family Shelter Service, including $50 from one very generous (if slightly embarrassed) gentleman, we were impressed.
So we asked you to beat that total this week. And did you. You guys donated more than $123 to the cause on Saturday. And we know most of you are poor-ass broke, so we are doubly grateful.
We will sweat our asses off for you as we strut through Downers Grove in our fishnets on Oct. 21 at the Run For Her Life 5K fundraiser. By then we expect to have raised $1000 to support Family Shelter Service’s work in our area – thanks to you. We love you!

Hollywood shows resume next year; see you at Arcada!

The Dec. 17 Hollywood Blvd show was our last Hollywood show for 2011. (If you missed it, you missed out.) There will be no show on 12/24 and on 12/31. See you in 2012!

We will be having a show at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles on Dec. 30 – please join us to send off 2011 in style!

Show starts at 11pm, so if you’re driving from Woodridge, you’ll still get home at about the same time as you do from Hollywood. See you there!
