It Was Great When It All Began – cast history

Completely Crazy has its origins in the late 80s. We’re delighted to bring you our colorful brand of mayhem every week as Chicagoland’s only weekly Rocky Horror showing.

The cast took its current name in 1990, performing at the Prospect Theater in Mount Prospect and the Palwaukee Theater. We’ve done the tour of the Chicagoland, including the beautiful Mundelein, the Des Plaines, the Village Theater (Chicago), the Trade Winds (Hanover Park), the Glenwood Theater (Glenwood), the Biograph (in Chicago, where Dillinger was shot), the Arcada (St. Charles) and Hollywood Blvd. in Woodridge, where the cast has been performing since October 2004. The cast has also done performances at the Excalibur club in Chicago; Columbia College; the Egyptian Theatre (DeKalb) and an unnamed clothing-optional resort in northwest Indiana.

Members of the cast performed at the 20th and 25th anniversary conventions, as well as various regional conventions, and in addition to making the final cut for the Blu-Ray picture-in-picture cast, members performed for the Fox world broadcast television premiere of Rocky Horror. In 2011, the Hollywood welcomed Patricia Quinn and Barry Bostwick to appear at the theater in October; Completely Crazy performed two shows to sold-out audiences and drafted fellow Chicagoland casts to perform for the overflow audiences.
